Safe Homes, Strong Foundations
We believe every family deserves a safe, stable place to call home. Our Housing Division works to address the critical infrastructure and clean water needs of Shreveport's most vulnerable communities.
What We Do
The TODCDC Housing Division tackles the foundational challenges that prevent families from thriving — unsafe living conditions, lack of clean water access, and deteriorating neighborhood infrastructure. We partner with local agencies, contractors, and community members to assess needs, connect families with resources, and advocate for lasting improvements.
Housing Assessments
We conduct thorough assessments of housing conditions for families in need, identifying safety hazards and connecting residents with repair and rehabilitation resources.
Clean Water Access
Advocating for and facilitating access to clean, safe drinking water for households across underserved Shreveport neighborhoods.
Infrastructure Advocacy
Working with government agencies and community partners to address systemic infrastructure gaps that affect quality of life.
Resource Navigation
Helping families navigate the complex landscape of housing assistance programs, grants, and emergency support services.
